Our Pediatric Urologists are fellowship trained in Pediatric Urology. They are certified by the American Board of Urology, Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics—Section of Pediatric Urology, and the Society of Pediatric Urology.

Ahmad Z. Mohamed, M.D., PhD

Professional Summary:

Dr. Ahmad Zakaria Mohamed graduated from Kasr El-Ainy Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt in 2000. He completed his internship and Urology residency there. He then joined the faculty in Cairo University and specialized in Pediatric Urology. He came to the USA in 2009, to Pittsburgh PA first, where he did clinical research and worked on his PhD thesis. He finished a Pediatric Urology fellowship at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus OH in 2013.
He has some basic science experience in the fields of urinary tract infection in children, and obstructive uropathy in animal models. He has several publications in a variety of fields in pediatric urology. His practice covers all pediatric urologic conditions, and he has special interest in reconstructive surgery, disorders of sexual differentiation and bladder dysfunction.
He worked as a pediatric Urologist and Assistant Professor at the University of Louisville in Kentucky from 2014 to 2021, before moving to Buffalo and joining John R. Oishei Children's Hospital and the University of Buffalo as clinical faculty.

Ezekiel Young, M.D., M.A

Professional Summary:

Dr. Ezekiel Young is a pediatric urologist in Buffalo, NY and is affiliated with John R. Oishei Children's Hospital. He is a member of the faculty of the Department of Urology at the University at Buffalo. He received his medical degree from Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, did his urology residency at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and his pediatric urology fellowship training at Johns Hopkins. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and has also received his pediatric urology subspecialty board certification. He has been in practice since 2015. He speaks both English and Spanish. He treats children with a full range of urologic conditions and has particular interest and expertise in minimally invasive surgery, and pediatric urologic oncology. He has published more than 25 peer-reviewed medical articles, written several chapters for medical texts and presented at numerous national and international conferences. He is a reviewer for the Journal of Urology, the Journal of Pediatric Urology, the Journal of Pediatric Surgery and is an associate editor for pediatric urology for the journals Frontiers in Pediatrics and Frontiers in Surgery.

  Sabrina Z. Meyer, CPNP, RN, MSN, BSN

Sabrina Meyer brings over a decade of pediatric urology experience to Pediatric Urology of Western New York. Previously, Sabrina has independently and collaboratively managed Pediatric Urology patients while working on NIH research studies and integrating urologic biofeedback into the practice.  She is active in the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners(NAPNAP), both on a local and national level.  Sabrina is the leader of the Biofeedback Special Interest Group for the national Pediatric Urology Nurse Specialists(PUNS) association.  Prior to joining Pediatric Urology, she spent 9 years caring for inpatient children at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  She has experience in pediatric rehabilitation, NICU step-down management and general inpatient pediatrics.  While Sabrina took a brief soujourn in General Pediatrics recently, she is pleased to return to offer her expertise in continence and the management of the pediatric urological patient.
